2 Days Down… And A Lifetime To Go…

Winding down day 2 of getting back to the basics of the Weight Watchers program. I am starting to feel better and remember all of the reasons I love WW. It’s the flexibility!! Sunday was the first day of April and my renewed commitment to getting back on track. I had 2 places to be that day and was still able to stay within my points … AND enjoy some cake! Yay!!! :) Here’s the review…

Sunday: 29 pts

Whey protein fruit smoothie with cinnamon flaxseed oil – 4

We had our General Conference broadcast for church this weekend… Sussan invited us over to her house to watch it with her family. I had chicken fajita salad for lunch with a Diet Coke – 4

Susan made this cake that she saw on Dr. Oz… It’s Hungry Girls Chocolate cake made with a cake mix and club soda! Paired with a tablespoon of icing, it was the best 6 pt piece of cake EVER! :)

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!

Lexy: I have no doubt that you’ll be able to get back on-program after your little set back. You and Carmen always keep me focused, and I’m so impressed with how the two of you always get your exercising in. My time at the gym always seems to be very sporatic with life getting in the way. There’s a Pinterest motivational saying that’s for Nike but seems to be appropriate for everyone: Just do it – then do it again. Keep up the good work.
