We enjoyed a fun Halloween night… my boys and a friend went trick-or-treating while I hung out with the neighbors. They came home with SOOO much candy! Lots of the good stuff! KitKat, Butterfingers, Snickers, M&M’s, Almond Joy, Junior Mints, Twix, etc! My oldest said… “Mom, you can have all of my candy, I don’t’ really want it…” Seriously??? Did he just say that to me!?!?!?!? I did NOT need to hear those words!!!
You KNOW things are serious when you start getting texts from friends…
So here’s “the plan”……
I read an awesome idea from Carrie today (one of my favorite bloggers!) ….
“I’m taking 3 pieces of candy today, and that’s it. I’ll keep the bowl of leftover candy at home, but bring in handfuls to work to pawn off on my coworkers 3 pieces per day until it’s gone, and counting every piece.”
So, I’m going with HER plan!! Wish me luck! I don’t have the best track record when it comes to this crazy holiday!
