Allred's

A Day With The Allred’s

I was really looking forward to today because I was going to spend some time with one of my best friends Beth. She and her family have been living in St. Kitts for the past 4 years and recently moved back to the states! She grew up right down the road from Estes Park and was in town visiting her family so it was a perfect chance to get to hang out! :)

Woke up early to get my work out in …. Peanut Butter & Banana – 1

54 Burpees and 30 minutes of elliptical  +5

Protein Waffle W/ Pear – 5

Beth used to work here so I snapped a pic on our way out of Estes Park…. anybody want to  “Riiiide-A-Kart??”

Protein Bar – 5

All the kids piled into the car!

Been wanting to try SmashBurger since Carman and Courtney had it in San Antonio!

Black Bean Burger – 9 (It was soooooo good!!)

Sweet Potato Fries – 3 (These were awesome!)

We took the kids to Chick-Fil-A so we could visit while they played.

Soooo glad that Beth is back in the states! Had such a great day!

On our way back into town, we stopped by The Stanley Hotel. This is the hotel that inspired Stephen King to write “The Shining”…. creepy! I remember when Cyndi and Keller visited the hotel where the movie was filmed!

I was creeped out and only stayed for 2 seconds to snap this pic.  😉

Whey Protein Fruit Smoothie – 2

Mini Delights – 3

Carman made some awesome Potato Soup – 5

And, I HAD to sample one of Santa’s cookies!

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
