Am I Missing What Matters Most?

Saturday I attended a Women’s Conference at church. I am so glad that I was there. It was exactly what I needed and at exactly the right time.  The whole event was focused around this one talk entitled “Forget Me Not”. If you have a spare 20 minutes, you might enjoy this video clip….

One of the parts of the talk that stood out to me was this…

Lately, my thoughts and feelings have been all over the place. I have spent a good part of the last year of my life focusing on trying to lose and maintain my weight. I have also spent a good chunk of time learning about the blogging world. I’m not saying that those things aren’t good, but I definitely don’t want to look back on my life and have regrets. I want to make sure that I am remembering the things that matter most. I will be mulling my thoughts over in my head for the next little while as I find the balance in my life that I crave. I probably need a little work in the “time management” department of my life. I hope you will bear with me as I try to figure it all out. :)

It was sooo fun catching up with Emily and Brenya! And it was fun that Carman got to meet Emily!  :) Miss those girls!!!

Sunday Fire Bites:

I was up early this morning preparing my lesson for church today…. protein bar…

I didn’t save myself enough time to prepare a proper breakfast, so it was another bar in the car on the way to church…

Sweet tomatoes upon arriving home…

Spaghetti squash, alfredo sauce, pico, and cubed turkey…

The rest of the night was spent eating bowls of cereal….

I may officially be SICK of this cereal. I have a headache.

It’s going to be very busy around here for the next couple of weeks!! There is nothing I can do but take one day at a time….

I will be doing my best to remember…….
