Back To The Land Of The Living

The last couple of days have been a complete blur! I have been sick… mainly sinus pressure, allergies, and runny/stuffy nose type stuff. I had a ridiculous headache that made things really difficult to deal with. My husband got home from out of town last night and worked on me for about an hour. I am so grateful for his profession…. He is an applied kinesiologist and uses manual muscle testing to find all of the problems in the body.  The muscle tests tell him what needs to be fixed and how to address the problem. He fixes structural, chemical, and emotional stresses. All of the muscles in the body are associated with organs, glands, and acupuncture meridians as well as joints in the spine and extremities. In my case, in order to fix my sinus problem he had to fix joints in my neck, feet, pelvis, and elbows. It always amazes me how things are so interconnected and how much better I feel after a treatment. When I woke up this morning, I felt different… and throughout the day, I continued to improve. :)

My Work Outs:

I’ve been posting my December work outs on Janetha’s Dedicated December thread….

Monday: caught up on 162 burpees (this made my headache so much worse!!!)

Tuesday: 40 minutes on the elliptical (came home and stayed in bed the rest of the day)

Wednesday: 50 minutes of walking inclines

One last thing…

My really good friend Susan brought me dinner because she knew I was miserable…. THANK YOU SO MUCH! She made one of Cyndi’s recipes Balsamic Chicken W/ Mediterranean Quinoa! It was sooooo good!!!
