Better Face The Music

The last few days have not been pretty. I made a decision to “relax” a little on Sunday. I didn’t take any pictures and pretty much ate cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Not really but pretty close!) Then I wanted to get back on track on Monday and started out with a healthy bowl of oatmeal w/ raspberries…. that was the only picture I took that whole day….

Until this one! Yes, more cookies at a family party.



One of my cousin’s flew in from Michigan and we all met up at my mom’s house to visit and catch up! It was so fun to see everyone!

My son also had a choir tour. His Intermediate school visited the local Elementary schools and performed a Christmas Concert. I ran into one of Carman’s girls. :)


He officially informed me that he didn’t want a picture WITH his mom because that would be “embarrassing”…. so I snuck this pic as he was walking by… (PS – that morning he begged me to come watch the performance, so I had no idea that it would be too embarrassing for a photo opp)


Tuesday Fire Bites

Eggs W/ Pico & Laughing Cow Cheese – 5 pts

Caught up on burpees that I had missed! 105 Total Burpees for the day… This had to count for my work out because I had a dentist appointment and too much going on.

This is my favorite thing right now… so good! Protein Pancake W/ Sugar Free Pudding Cup – 7 pts (I know it’s more of a dessert than breakfast… but I didn’t have fresh fruit and this just tastes too good!!)

Zone Bar – 5 pts

Turkey Swiss Melt W/ Green Peppers – 4 pts

And then …. because I had a pretty decent day sticking to my points… I decided to screw it all up and make sugar cookies… the dough turned out lame because I mixed wheat flour with regular flour, but that didn’t stop me from eating way too many.

I’m hoping that by “facing the music” and admitting the train wreck of the last 2 days… that I will be able to get back to eating the way that feels good. For the last two days, I have not felt good at all… sugar headaches, stomach aches, and BLAH. Eating crap is not worth it….
