Daily Bites- Tues

Went to bed at 9pm and still had a hard time waking up at 5am this morning. Lots of recovering to do I guess. 😉

Today was ‘supposed’ to be my baby’s first day of preschool and my first day to try a BodyPump class at the gym….but I couldn’t find my keys ANYWHERE!! :(

So we were stuck at home. :(

Kinda put me more in a funk. So I caught up reading blogs all day.

Should’ve done my to-do list…..but I didn’t.

And I didn’t care.

there were LOTS of these leftover from the weekend….ugh

Lunch- protein pancake with strawberries, agave, & whipped cream

I am out of cinnamon and so I used this instead in honor of the RARE Fall weather we were experiencing yesterday and today!!

I ♥ FALL!!  Can’t wait to break out my pumpkin recipes.

Finally found my keys……oh that’s right…I keep them on the bed. ugh. I love it when my kids move my things.

snack- a little leftover guac with some Julio’s crumbs….haha

I love these random sweet sibling moments. 😉

finished off this that was in my fridge that only my ‘gourmet’ sister in law buys!! 😉

dinner- 1/2 cup spaghetti with ground turkey and 1/2 cup whole grain pasta. Salad with spring mix, red onions, carrots, almond accents and Briana’s Real French dressing. YUM!

I have GOT to throw the crap junk in my house away……I can’t quit snacking on it. ugh.

by the way…..

Did I mention that this and a half gallon of vanilla got left at my house from the weekend?!?!?!

temptation. demons. live. here.

Thanks ladies!! 😉

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
