This week:
48 Activity points earned and used.
49 WPA remaining.
I have been experimenting with my points this week so that I can find out what works for me.  I’m in week 14 and I feel like I haven’t found a method with the points that keeps me consistent on weight loss every week.
So this week I decided to look at it in a different light and turn things around from the way I’ve been doing them.
(thanks to my hubby and his pep talk Friday night).

I decided to switch my settings on my WW plan manager online to use my activity points daily first instead of deducting from my WPA first if I go over my 29 daily points.

The days I do boot camp or cardio for an hour I can usually earn 10 activity points and so (as I was reminded by my sweet hubby) my body needs those extra calories (healthy proteins & carbs not empty ones) for muscle repair, growth, fat burning, etc. So on days that I workout I will be eating my daily points + the activity points I earn that day. If for whatever reason I don’t workout, then I will have to stick to my daily 29. Hopefully this will also be motivation for me to make my workouts more consistent each week. My goal is to do it this way and NOT dip into my 49 WPA at all until I’m at my goal.
I am hoping that this method will be the happy medium and balance I need to be more consistent in my weight loss efforts to my WW goal and personal goal. I am also hoping this will make it a lot easier to transition to maintenance when I get there.

I will give my experiment till the end of the month (about 3 weeks) to really get a good idea if this is the way to go for me.

Unti then, I will just ‘keep on keeping on’ this path and living and loving life in the meantime!
;))
WW meeting and weigh in tomorow.
Can’t wait for some new motivation from our awesome leader who is back in town!!

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
