 Busy Busy Day!

breakfast: oatmeal with cinnamon &  bananas

word to the wise: do NOT make oatmeal with the pumpkin pie spice before cooking! Had to throw my first batch out cause I coudn’t eat it……the cloves in it were so strong.

my oldest had a hair apt this morning with my AWESOME friend/hairdresser. She got a bang trim and ‘tinsels’ put hin her hair since its Homecoming here this week!!

snack: Zone  Bar

*I got to voluteer at the HS in the Lady Chargers Basketball booth during the Homecoming Carnival.

Stood there so long endin up needing one as lunch.

After standing out in the heat three hours I decide I needed some ‘Happy Hour’ in my life today.

Date Night with my hubby. We have a brand-spankin-new Rudy’s BBQ here that we decide to check it out.

hahaha….AMEN!!!  {Don’t get me wrong…I love my veggies too….but I am def a meat eater!}

Dinner-I had lean brisket, coleslaw & we shared the banana pudding and the pecan pie.

*We then headed over to Academy for a little shopping trip!

dessert: small chocolate frosty. Wendy’s has changed up their little cups…..i guess they’re ‘moving on up’!

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
