Monday Daily Bites

Total Daily: 29pts

Well, it is a Monday.

1/2 this bar before workout & then half after- 7pts+

this bar brought back a TON of memories!  I used to eat these all the time when I was training for our full marathon back in 2007. I love them cause they really hit the spot for hard workouts!

And also one of my fav people, Jeff Galloway, recommends them. 😉

Spin class. That is an awesome workout!! 😉

Was 15 mins late due to issues with a couple of my children and so I stayed after class and did another 20 mins of riding.

+11 Activity points

glad I ate other half of powerbar on the way home from gym cause I was starving!!  It took the edge off so I wouldn’t grab the first sugary thing when I walked in my kitchen.

post workout: protein shake 4pts+

lunch: flat out bread pizza made with leftover spaghetti meat sauce, peppers, purple onion, cheese, italian seasonings. 7pts+

mid afternoon snack when the girls got home from school: banana with 1/2 serving of nutella- 3pts+

*started getting the snacky urge… I know I should have taken a power nap before the girls started getting home.

snacking before dinner- 0pts+ (2nd serving of fruit today)

dinner: 1 pt corn tortilla quesadillas with my shredded chicken, cheese, and pico on top-8pts+

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
