We will never forget…….

{my proudly displayed flag in my yard thanks to our local Boy Scout Troop}

on the way to church: 1/4 c. oatmeal with cinnamon & banana- 3pts+

after church: my daughter got this outta the garage freezer. :( no self control cause I was starving. 5pts+

hard boiled egg from my fridge- 1pts+ (only ate 1/2 the yolk)

lunch: threw this little dish together-spaghetti squash, a Zummo sausage link & cilantro- 6pts+

*1 hour Sunday nap ;)*

my mom is about an hour north of us going through some training for a new job for 12 days. We decided to meet up for dinner so we could visit with her since she’s so close.

1 piece of bread with some butta’

I don’t ever order appetizers anymore but we got this spinach artichoke dip to share….it was SO GOOD and my kids actually ate it.

Another one of my fav recipes for FALL…..Gonna find a healthy version of this dip to make for the cooler weather ahead.

my dinner: 6oz sirloin, sweet potato fries, green beans

the kids wanted dessert and our waiter told the kids they could go back into the kitchen and help make it! Never had that happen before! Their eyes were as big as saucers being in that kitchen!!

Now THAT is a tub of Blue Bell!!!!!!!! 😉

they each got a Ginormous Texas size helpin’ of ice cream rolled in Oreo cookie crumbles!!!!  that thing was as big as a dang softball!!!  {Had I known it was that big they would have all split ONE!}

sweet lady!!

*I did help Gabe eat his 😉  and his had chocolate sauce on it. YUM.

had a couple of bites of my mom’s bloomin onion that she ordered to go

she ended up sending it home with us. :/

just in case you were wondering….a whole blooming onion is a whopping 48 POINTS+!!!!!!!!

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
