*KILLER Spin class!!! My legs are still sooooo sore from BodyPump yesterday that within 20 mins of spin my legs were numb! I really liked the instructor…..she kept pushing us harder which is what I needed since I was so tired and sore. She had some great songs that we rode too like Hurts So Good by John Mellancamp and ZZ Tops La Grange both which are some of my favorite running songs……GREAT MUSIC definitely helps push through it—especially when you sing along! 😉

+10 pts

fixed little man’s lunch and had a spoonful while making my smoothie- 3pts+

post workout: I used PBF’s smoothie recipe guidelines to make my smoothie so I could some healthy greens in.

I used 1 frozen banana, about 1 cup water, scoop of this protein, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 handfuls of spinach

SUPER yummy & refreshing!!!

lunch: protein pancake with pumpkin pie spice

made the mistake of sitting down and kicking my shoes off to rest a minute and the soreness kicked in!!! I ended up dozing in my recliner off and on for a while.

when D got home she was hungry for a chocolate treat so I let her make some chocolate dipped pretzels

dinner on the way to High School Open House: a chicken stir fry I threw together—will post the recipe soon!!

her clean & organized locker—I’m so proud! 😉

{can’t say the same for her room! :/}

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
