I have a love-hate relationship with starting a diet. Beginning has always been so hard for me. The day before dread of knowing that when I wake up, my carefree eating style will change and I’ll have to give up thousands of calories. I hate that! But what I love about week one is that satisfaction of looking down at the scale and seeing a big loss!! If it’s done right, the first week can be a real inspiration – get ready folks – I LOST 10 POUNDS last week, my first week!!!!! I don’t care if it was all fluid, I can see the veins in my feet again and my wedding ring is starting to feel loose! To everyone else, I look exactly the same on the outside. But, in my mind I can see a big difference already. I don’t expect to have this kind of result from now on, I’d rather lose a solid 2 pounds of fat every week. That’s my goal. So if I can do that every week, by my birthday in September, I will have lost about 20 pounds more! Yea! I’ll take that.
