+1 pound (Ugh!)

I didn’t make that up, I “borrowed” it from my friend, Susan A. The difference between us is that she is a lot younger and slimmer than me, so she can probably get by with a cheat day! For me, it added weight. I had a great birthday week, didn’t eat cake, but did have a piece of sugar-free pecan pie at our family reunion. Couldn’t help it! For one reason or another, we ate out a lot last week, and somewhere along the line, I over did it. I’m in full repentance mode now and really watching my intake and trying to get back on track for working out. I only walked on the treadmill once last week. Wow!
I’ve also moved my blog update day to Wednesdays. That will give me a little more time to get my mind straight and undo any “wrongs” I have committed over the weekend.
I’m feeling good and so looking forward to some type of cooler weather. Played a little Frisbee golf with my sons and grandkids yesterday – it was fun but HOT. I’m looking forward to walking in the neighborhood and checking out the non-Autumn leaves we have in Texas!
