Claretta – Week 20

What a week!

Had a super Thanksgiving holiday…all my kids and grandchildren came home.  Plenty of good times, memories and wonderful food were enjoyed by all.

It was so great to eat enough to be satisfied and not stuffed.  I’m amazed at the things I didn’t eat which means that I have learned some self-control after all these years!  I’m really thankful for the blessings in my life and for all the support my family has given me during the past few weeks.

 

 

 

Not only am I in preparation mode for the holidays, but so is my house.  It’s been a construction zone for over 2 weeks and my contractor got things together enough for Thanksgiving.  Now there’s just a few more things to do this week and I’ll be able to get my Christmas stuff out.  This will be the most trying time for me with all the Christmas “goodies” that will be passed around.  My trainer worked my hiney off today at the gym and strongly encouraged me to keep my food journal.  I sure wish I had an iPhone so I could use DietSnaps!!!  I also need to drink more water – MUST DRINK WATER!!!

Oh! The most amazing thing happened – my contribution to the blog was noticed by Skinny Emmie!  She writes regular blog entries for Enell. (which is the sports bra I use)  She included my story on the Enell site HERE.  I’ve been a huge fan of the Enell sports bra since Oprah first mentioned it over 5 years ago.  From their site, “The ENELL SPORT Bra and the ENELL LITE Bra were designed to enable well-endowed women to exercise and work out in greater comfort.     Great job Claretta! I can see a difference in your face pics! You’re gonna be one rockin’ grandma! Keep it up- I’m impressed with your Thanksgiving feast self-control, cause I didn’t have any….
