starting over

Claretta – Week 25

Renewal and Rededication – Just like probably everyone else in the world, I’m excited about the possibilities that are out there for me in 2012. There will be opportunities to learn something new, make some new friends, have more time for service to others, and get closer to our Heavenly Father.  Another thing that is for sure is I will get healthier (and happier) as each day goes by. After making a few risky choices during the holidays, I’m ready to get back “on the wagon”, so to speak.  I know I’m not the only one that has made a New Year’s resolution to eat better and exercise more, but I’m maybe more determined than many people.  At my age, I don’t have the luxury of starting over anymore.  This is it!  2012 is my year to finally get back in shape, to feel good, wear decent clothes, travel, and enjoy my life to the fullest.  I have to keep thinking about me – all the time.  I saw this quote on Pinterest
I’m not starting over, I’m continuing, but I will consider how every single thing I eat will affect my desired outcome.  I would LOVE to win Dr. Oz’s Transformation Nation Contest.  The $1 million would be great, but just think what an accomplishment it will be to finally be healthy and slim again.
With or without the million, I’m doing it!  By the way, I’ve lost 2 of the 3 pounds I gained over the holidays.  Woohoo!! – Claretta

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
