Losing weight sure feels good! When looking at the scale, I know it’s “just a number”, but when that number is going down in the right direction, it feels great!! Checked in with my medical doctor today and I’ve lost 11 pounds since I saw him last, three months ago. Total pounds lost so far:
-37.2 – Now, that’s a number!!!
I’m glad to report that my gym experience is improving. I still haven’t been able to go every single day, but my physicality is definitely better! I finally got my mile on the treadmill to under 20 minutes, and I “wogged” almost half the time! I find I’m less tired and can go farther before my walk/pace rest AND I can usually keep my heart rate up where it belongs. My “control” while strength training is definitely improving too!
I also crossed a big barrier today. You know how it goes when you’re doing good and your brain decides that you should reward yourself…well, that’s where I was this morning. I was thinking that I’d just drive thru Jack-in-the-Box and enjoy one of those really good grilled breakfast sandwiches…I deserve it right?? I can’t tell you how good it felt when I just drove right past Jack and waved! I think I’ll enjoy a nice spinach salad with grilled chicken instead.
A slimmer figure, healthy internals, lost inches – that’s what I deserve!!
