The Numbers Don’t Lie
My Trainer made me submit to the dreaded body measurements and fit tests
today: The news wasn’t all bad!
Since October 20, 2011, I have lost 10.6 pounds; 2.75 inches in my chest;
1 inch in my biceps; 4 inches from my waist; 3 inches from my hips; .75 inches from my calves; and 4.75 inches from my thighs. My total weight loss thus far is 40 pounds!!!!! and 16-1/4 all around inches. That translates to being down 2 dress sizes! OK, I’ll take that!
I did my “final” weigh in at Weight Watchers today for Dr. Oz’s Transformation Nation. Total there is 17.2 pounds! I didn’t transform as much as I could have due to laziness on my part, and I won’t win the $1 Million, but I still feel MUCH better than I did 6 months ago, and I can’t wait to see where I’ll be 6 months from now.
I’m going to wipe the slate clean, draw a line in the sand, and go forward with what I have learned works and doesn’t work from my past experiences. I have 4 more sessions with my trainer (who has been awesome, by the way!). I’m just quitting the expense of a personal trainer, not my gym membership or desire to get fit, healthy and slimmer. I’m on a roll now and looking to lose 85 more pounds!
