Claretta – Week 5

-0 pounds

This is going to be very short and sweet.  I did not gain any weight last week!!  This is remarkable because it was a CRAZY week and I did the best I could under the circumstances.  This means I didn’t eat perfect, but I didn’t do too bad either.  It was packing and moving week for my daughter and her family, on top of several other hectic factors that were going on.  There were moments of pure insanity to say the least! Usually stress causes me to eat everything under the sun, but somewhere during these last few weeks, I’ve learned to eat less-harmful food.  So, when Aunt Wendy appeared with everything to make awesome sandwiches on moving day, I was able to ignore the bread and chips and cookies, and just eat the meat and fruit….that was until we all went out for Mexican food.  Anyway, that’s why I love Mondays…it’s a clean slate for the coming week.  The move was successful, and we all have our refrigerators and pantry’s stocked with the right foods again.  By the way, my cocoon must be starting to shrink, cause random people are beginning to notice that I’m looking different.   Yay!!!!!

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
