Claretta – Week 9

-2.4 pounds   (total -20.6 pounds)
Woooohoooo!  Another good loss!  I must admit that I was a little worried for my weigh in this week.  I kinda over-indulged on my Friday night date with my hubby and ate too much of Rudy’s famous creamed corn.  And, I had to try one of my girlfriend’s homemade tamale’s yesterday.  I’ve really tried to steer clear of that kind of food for right now.  My latest lab report showed that all of my “counts” were down, but still in ranges that were too high.  I worry about everything turning to sugar in my system.  I’ve cut back on fruits too, except I just had to have some watermelon this week.  I mean, summer is almost over afterall!

I bought a snorkle/mask set up that I’m going to start using at the pool after my aqua class.  Some of the others do some lap swimming using their snorkles.  I’m not sure what real difference that will make, but it looks relaxing.  The more exercise I can fit in, the better.  Didn’t do such a great job using the treadmill last week, although I did walk the neighborhood a couple of times.  The temperature dropped to a really comfortable level and being outside was the thing to do.  Temps are climbing back up this week, so I’ll be back inside the gym.

My birthday is coming up next week.  Maybe I can steal my man away for a little trip soon.  The first day of Fall and my birthday occur at the same time every year and I really love Autumn!  I love the fall colors (like we ever get to see that in Texas!) so I like to go somewhere and look at the leaves.  I’m just so fascinated by it all!  It rejuvenates me.  Don’t believe me?  Ask Lexy, it’s one of her favorite things to do too!

    YeeeeeeeHawwwww Claretta!!!! You GO woman!!!! You are doing AWESOME and are on a ROLL! Keep up the good work and keep making those little lifestyle changes… WILL pay off! 😉 Just remember as you do all things in moderation….. you’re still able to enjoy the journey!! Soo happy for you!
