Daily Menu and the Wendie Plan

3 – I didn’t have any fresh fruit for my protein pancake… I tried to add some frozen cherries at the last minute but it ended in disaster… didn’t cook really good in the middle and I ended up only eating around the edges…

Had a really good Weight Watchers meeting today.  We were talking about plateau’s and different things you can do to make a breakthrough… One thing I used to do is follow what is called the Wendie Plan.  It’s a strategy of mixing up your points each day so that your body doesn’t get used to eating the same amount of food per day.  You can click this link to read more about it!

All during the meeting it was pouring down rain!  We have needed rain forever so it was nice!  We got drenched!!!

5 – I was starving after the meeting because of my breakfast gone bad…  Zone Bar saves the day!

1 – I couldn’t resist the marshmallow Gabe gave me… after looking up the points on the bag I learned that 4 giant marshmallows are 3 points… so I stuck to only 1!  I had no idea they were so high in pts!

5 – Turkey Chili W/Spaghetti Squash Over Spinach

I really need to get to the store, so I was just going through the freezer to see what I had.  Peanut Butter Fingers had posted about her wafflewich… and it looked really good.  So, I ended up just making Better’n Eggs over a Van’s gluten free waffle with a little Maple Grove Farms sugar free syrup… not exactly a wafflewich, but only 4 pts…

2 – Fiber One Bar

Then headed out to Subway for a 7 pt sandwich.  At check out, I saw the new Snapz apple chips… The bag was only 1 pt so I thought I would give them a try.  I thought it was a great alternative to chips… :)

The rest of the night was spent buying even MORE school supplies.  While at HEB, I ran into a girl I used to play basketball with in High School.  :)

I am really hoping to get a gym membership soon… I have been missing my daily work outs!!

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
