Started off my Saturday with a 5 mile run with the running group. As always, a great way to kick off the weekend…
Protein Pancake – 5 pts
A little while later, I had to finish off the last gluten/dairy free brownie – 5 pts So good!!!!!!!
After running a few errands, we hurried home to meet Reece and Linda. (My brother and his wife) Didn’t really have time for lunch, so snacked on a Zone Bar…. 5 pts
Then my parents showed up with a feast!!! They had left over wings, veggies, donuts, and sides from an event they had attended. I started out just snacking on some carrots….. 0 pts
But eventually caved and ate a piece of donut…. 3 pts
Then preceded to eat 2 donuts! 15 pts
And helped myself to some of Kody’s Skittles… 6 pts
So, I had to pull out all the stops to salvage the day! I had a bowl of Spaghetti Squash W/ Cinnamon – 0 pts
A while later, I had a bowl of Roasted Veggies – 0 pts
And then ended the night with Frozen Banana Soft Serve W/ Cinnamon – 0 pts
Remind me not to waste my time with donuts anymore…. they really aren’t “worth” all of the points!
Also, UPDATE on the Burpee Challenge…. I really thought about quitting today…. I have gotten behind on my days and I knew I was going to have to make up a bunch…. After some encouraging words from Courtney and Carman… I decided to knock them out! 124 Burpees!!!!!!!! And then took a long nap!
I am not a QUITTER!
