I had a really good night’s sleep… was relieved to wake up with no headache!
I powered up with a huge protein breakfast of lean turkey sausage, roasted veggies, and egg beaters for 4 pts…
**I headed up to the gym and walked 30 minutes of inclines followed by a 1 hour Body Pump class**
Picked up a few things at the grocery store while drinking Honey Milk Light – 4 pts
Hungry Girl was on Dr. Oz on Monday… it was a great episode where she talked about eating more to lose weight. One of her tips is to bulk up your meals with extra veggies for a more satisfying meal… (that was my goal for breakfast and it worked) Her claim to fame is her ability to “bridge the gap between the average junk-food diet and the idealistic way of eating perfectly healthy at all times.” She provides the happy medium.
I was re-motivated to try some new things. I used to eat Boca Burgers all of the time, but kind of forgot about them over time. I was reminded of them and decided that would make a good/different lunch – 5 pts
I also picked up a box of VitaTops for a fun 3 pt snack…
Late afternoon protein waffle with strawberries – 5 pts
Butternut squash fries prepared like THIS – 0 pts
I experimented with another Hungry Girl idea…. Taco Bell style mexican pizza – 6
I volunteer on Wednesday nights at the church in the youth program… there were cookies tonight and it was hard not to eat one… so I had a bite – 1 pt
Came home and made frozen banana soft serve like THIS – 0 pts
