Football Fun with the Poultons

breakfast – protein pancake with banana and cinnamon cool whip – 6 (thanks Lexy!) and 1 piece of bacon and eggs with pico – 3 (thanks Kamie!!) 😉

knocked out 60 burpees for today in increments of 10 using pool table balls -(still need to catch up on some burpees from days I’ve missed – will have to make a workout out of them again soon)

snack – 5 – the girls went to the Commissary on Fort Leavenworth to pick up a few things…..

 

we all 4 got text bombarded by the guys requesting pizza for lunch!! 😉

 

lunch – I had 3 small pieces of pizza

chocolate – YUM!

then we took the kids to a park down the road from their house so they could burn some energy! Jade & Bryan’s cute little Ammy!

we had a blast and earned an hours worth of activity points!! 😉

 

 

snack – 100 calorie nutty bar – I grew up on Little Debbie cakes so I always have a ‘weakness’ for them.

I made up salsa and green sauce – YUM!!

 

Kamie made awesome enchiladas!!! had half a beef enchilada and half a chicken – more chips and dip

 

I made chocolate chunk cookies – had several throughout the evening

 

We got to watch the UFC fight for the first time in a LONG time! Several years ago we used to be die hard fans and have fight night parties at our house when we were stationed in WA. We cancelled cable a couple years ago and so we don’t hear what goes on in the UFC as much and got away from it. It was cool watching it again cause it brought back memories of old times. 😉  It was also cool to see these fighters in a new light since I’ve been on this quest of a healthy lifestyle – to see their hard work, dedication, focus, drive, and training showed me again how when we push our selves and get outside of our comfort zones – we can be the best we can be – at any level!

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
