One of the things I hate most in life is waking up with a headache!! I am still dealing with a lot of pain in my shoulder/neck area which I think stems from the burpee challenge… (This post talks about my decision to drop out of the challenge) but I’m sure is also associated with stress, etc. I have been waking up with my neck feeling really tense and tight. I am very fortunate to be married to an awesome applied kinesiologist/chiropractor that is willing to work on me. He usually prefers me to go up to his office because all of his equipment is there… but since he had just come home from Austin, he had a lot of his stuff with him. He worked on me right after breakfast in our spare room where we have a portable chiropractic table.
2 scrambled eggs with roasted veggies and salsa – 4 pts
Protein waffle with strawberries and sugar free syrup – 5 pts
One of my Hungry Girl cookies – 4 pts
I took a long nap trying to shake off the headache… it pretty much decided to stick around for the day…
Had a serving of these while making lunch – 4 pts
Turkey pepperoni pizza with spinach, purple onions, tomatoes and mozz – 4 pts
I decided to try to get out of the house and go for a walk on the treadmill at the gym… hoping that would help???
Banana/peanut butter sandwich – 1 pt
**30 minutes of walking inclines followed by 30 minutes of elliptical** +7
Zone bar – 5 pts
Kody and I read a little more of The Hunger Games, we are such band wagoners…. we know…
Grapes – 0 pts
Maybe some sugar will help the headache?? Fruity Pebbles – 4 pts
Hearty dinner of turkey chili over roasted veggies – 4 pts
Bottom line… I still have a headache… Torry didn’t get home until 9:15 pm and as soon as he walked in the door I started bawling. He worked on me again and I’m really hoping a good night’s sleep will do the trick. Praying for no headache in the morning!!!
