Ideas Of Things I Like To Eat….

These are just random things that I like to eat… and I just rotate them around… not sure if you will like them?
I didn’t go into a ton of detail…. just wanted to post a list somewhere that I can refer back to….

-1/2 cup of Quaker old fashioned oats cooked, then slice a banana into it… a tiny bit of SF syrup to sweeten
-spinach, egg beaters, and salsa (or 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites)
-spinach smoothie  (One serving- 1/2 cup water, 1/8 wedge lemon or lime, 2 handfuls of spinach, 1/2 banana
Cup frozen fruit) —sooo good!  can’t even taste the spinach!
-protein pancake with fresh fruit on top (third cup cottage cheese, third cup egg whites, third cup dry oats, half teaspoon baking powder, half teaspoon cinnamon, blend everything into pancake batter… makes 1 giant pancake, or 2 mini)
-turkey sausage link with green giant frozen veggies
-mini pizza made with low carb tortilla, pizza sauce, spinach, red yellow orange peppers, turkey pepperoni, low fat mozzarella cheese 425F heat tortilla for about 6 minutes to make it crispy, then assemble the pizza and cook for 6 additional minutes
-fruit smoothie with 1 cup diet V8 splash (berry medley or tropical blend), 1 cup frozen mixed fruit, and 6-8 oz container of greek yogurt…. any flavor… i usually do strawberries, blueberries, or peach
-half cup of scrambled egg beaters with a turkey breakfast sausage patty (sugar free syrup to sweeten)
-ground turkey taco salad…  mixed greens, tomatoes and salsa
-dove dark chocolates
-faux lasagna – made with spaghetti squash, cottage cheese, and marinara sauce… heated in microwave for 2 mins
-ground turkey chili with diced tomatoes, chili beans, and original chili seasoning packet over spaghetti squash
-dreyer’s frozen yogurt or half the fat ice cream (half cup)
-grapes, strawberries, pears, apples, bananas, etc

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
