Last Day in Estes Park :(

So sad that its our last day in Estes Park!! :( This week here has FLOWN by so fast!!! We have had a such a surreal, awesome time here with this gorgeous scenery. It has been so nice just getting to take a break from the busy and craziness of life.

We took the kids to Hidden Valley again to go sledding but the winds this time were INSANE and at MOCK SNOT!!!  It made it just miserable and just about unbearable!!!  We tried to fight through it and go sledding as much as we could stand it……we maybe lasted about 30 minutes.

Devyn & Jayde- she didn’t even want to pick her head up from the pelting wind/snow

Daddy & Taylor racing down the hill

I tried to get a picture when the wind would stir the snow up…….it was just crazy.

an attempt at a bundled up family picture. :/

an attempt at a real family picture in the snow

the wind was crazy and cold!

us girls headed into town to walk the main street shops

Devyn was so happy that they had BLUE BELL!!!! 😉

It was so crazy that all the little shops close up in town around 5:30pm everyday!!!  So we didn’t get to see but a couple.

then we headed over to Starbucks so Devyn could get her fix for a caramel apple cider. I had to have a few sips- I haven’t had one of these in years!

*Our next stop – KANSAS!!!!  We get to go hang out with some more of our awesome family!!!

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
