Yay!!! Our leader was back at our WW meeting today!
Karen is awesome and I just love her meetings!
So, like I said last week… I hit my goal, but because my 10% goal and WW goal were the same… it somehow slipped through the cracks. It ended up working out better because I was able to celebrate today and my leader was there too! I didn’t realize she was going to call me up front… I should have prepared a speech! Hahaha! Got me all nervous….
Here is my STAR charm for reaching my WW goal!
Now I need to stay within 2 lbs of my goal for 5 more weeks to become a lifetime WW member! Woohoo!
Weight: 138.8 lbs
This has definitely been a mind adjustment this week. I have to share part of an email from Carman that really made me smile! I was freaking out because I have started weight training 3 days a week on top of my regular running/cardio. One morning I got on my scale and it said 140! I was panicking!
Here’s what she said……
“That 3lbs you have ‘gained’ you know is just water weight and your body adjusting to the weight training and craziness from the week. Don’t stress over it-you HAVE to give your body time to adjust–(what Court tells me all the time). I would just make sure you drink all your water today and keep eating healthy choices. And just rem-your WW goal is 140–you are still right there and in maintenance towards lifetime so it’s not gonna effect your weigh in and status tomorrow as long as you’re within 2lbs of it–thats what matters the most right now (getting that lifetime award). Loosing the next 12lbs you’re wanting to loose should just be the icing on the cake. I want this new lifestyle of ours to be about living and loving life on WW–not about stressing abt the scale every week. (easier said than done I know–but u know what I mean). You have handled this stressful week the best you could–So don’t stress abt the scale. Stress will only make it worse. ;)))
