I thought it would be fun to show you some of the work out machines I like to use. I really enjoy working out… It’s especially fun when I’m able to do so with friends!
My gym has the ARC trainer. I have really enjoyed using this machine as an alternative to a regular elliptical. It has a completely different feel to it…. I usually stay on between 45 mins to an hour.
(That’s not me in the pic…. haha… although I’ll take her arms!)
The apartment gym has these ellipticals. For days that I can’t get to the regular gym… I’m glad I have this. These are also nice because my son likes to come with me and watch the Disney Channel while he is on the elliptical next to me! It’s a fun way for us to be able to work out together.
I haven’t been doing as much weight training as I should. I do take a Body Pump class once a week. I would like to make it to more classes… It’s a great way to get a full body weight training work out.
Running With My Garmin
And then there’s regular running… which I really really enjoy! I love exploring new paths and neighborhoods. I really like to run first thing in the morning as the sun is coming up… usually I get started about 6:30am. With my Garmin… I can go any which way I want… and it will keep track of my mileage and pace.
I’m pretty much open to trying anything new. These are just the things I’ve been doing lately. I would love to try a Yoga Class… or Pilates. I’ve only done DVD’s.
