Monday And Tuesday Highlights!

I was in the middle of posting and ended up losing everything I had typed… grrr…… so, now that it’s getting late and I’m falling asleep at the keyboard, I decided to go a different route…

A few highlights of the week so far:

•Our good friend Tracey of dietSNAPS made us this snazzy new profile pic for our Facebook Page! Thanks girl!! Be sure to “like” us on FB if you haven’t already and share with your friends and family that might be interested!! :)

•I’m back to boot camp, body pump and muscle blast! I sure missed weight training!

•I went on my longest run in over 1.5 years! I was really just feeling the itch to get out and run in this beautiful weather!! It felt great!

•Our good friend took us out for lunch! Haven’t been to one of these places in years!! So fun!! THANK YOU SUSSAN!

•My oldest son turned 14!!

•They indulged me in a cute photo… I have taken this shot of them many times over the years! I can’t believe how the time has flown….

•He was Birthday Heart Attacked by the cousins!! :)

•We celebrated at his favorite restaurant! This kid is Tex-Mex all the way!!!

•He was grateful to the family members that were able to make it! He loves sitting around the table with everyone enjoying each other’s company!

•One happy boy!

 

As for the food I’ve been eating….

Monday Fire Bites:

Oatmeal w/ strawberries – 4

**1 Hour Boot Camp** +10

Didn’t have a fresh banana at home, so I blended up a frozen banana with a teaspoon of peanut butter – 1

Took some time to prepare meals and veggies for the week:

 

Turkey chili (no beans) with spaghetti squash and roasted veggies – 4

Protein bar – 6

Two servings of cereal during the day – 6

Tortilla pizza – 4

Protein waffle w/ strawberries – 5

Tuesday Fire Bites:

Protein pancake with strawberries – 5

**Ran 8 miles** +12

Spinach smoothie with whey protein – 2

My good friend Sussan took Carman, my mom, and I to lunch! First time trying this restaurant!

Split the hibachi veggies – 3

Teriyaki chicken – 6

Zone bar – 5

Frozen banana with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter – 1

Chips and salsa – 4

Chicken, lettuce, tomatoes with salsa – 4

Andes mint – 1

Cookie cake – 10

    wow 8 miles – you GO girl! 😉 We loved getting to hang out at Casa Ole for Ty’s birthday!! Can’t believe how fast our kiddos are growing!
