My Hubby is Home!!!!

Last Friday – 2/24

Our Daddy arrived home safely!!!! He was very stiff getting off the plane and I could tell that his injury was a lot worse than he had let on. (I call it wife intuition – this ain’t my first rodeo!) 😉  I am still so thankful that he was not injured/hurt worse than he could have been. Definitely counting our blessings.

Taylor got a Character Award at school today for Responsibility!!!! I am so proud of her!

I checked them out of school a little early and we bee-lined it up to the base to watch him fly in. We got out there and they had just landed!! Perfect timing!

There he is! The kids squealed when they saw him walk off the plane! 😉 It was so cute!

We’re so glad when Daddy comes home!!!

Together again! 😉


My Fire Bites:

grabbed Gabe some donut holes while running errands – He kindly shared with me only after taking a bite of the one he gave me and thinking it was HILARIOUS!!! Lil’ stinker! :) had about 4 donut holes – 4


snack on the way to get worked a treatment – 5

diagnosis from my treatment – my body is in ‘survival mode’ :/ Imagine that.

lunch – turkey Subway sandwich – 9

chips – 6


on the way home from picking up my hubby we decided on not messing up the kitchen so we grabbed pizzas from Little Caesars so we could relax once we got home. We also rented the movie ‘Reel Steel’ and the kids loved it!
so I happily got into my PJ’s for some much needed relaxing time with my hubby and a treat 😉
SOOOO glad to have my hubby home safely so I can take care of him. 😉
