Pinterest Saves the Day for the Last Day of Preschool!!!

Yesterday was Gabe’s last day of Preschool. He is now going to be a Pre-Kindergartener next year!! My sweet little boy is growing up sooo fast! It is gonna truly be bittersweet after next school year when he will be gone to Kindergarten all day. There is definitely something sad and different thinking about your last child going to school all day – especially having no other babies at home to take care of like I’ve been used to for the past 15 years!!! Crazy!  I have all next year to prepare myself right?! :)

In my stupor this morning I realized I hadn’t come up with a teacher’s gift for Gabe’s two AWESOME and sweet teachers yet!!!  Can I just say THANK GOODNESS for Pinterest and how much I LOVE that website?!?!!!!  I have been randomly pinning teacher gift ideas over the last couple of months but have had no time (or brain) to sit down and actually go through them to pick one out and do until this morning. I had 5 minutes to decide what I was going to do that was cute, simple, cheap, and sentimental. Within a minute I came across the cutest idea and knew that was the one!!!!  Its’s the  M&M’s Teacher Appreciation Gift on the cutest blog called Domestically Speaking!

I LOVED the sweet poem that went with it and I especially loved that they had it available to just copy and paste! :) I had all the supplies but the M&M’s and it was super quick to put together before we walked out the door.  I thought they turned out SUPER cute!

About Carman

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I joined Weight Watchers and started using the Points Plus program to learn portion control, moderation, and develop healthier habits. I also used the dietSNAPS app to track my meals and it was such a life changer for me to literally *see* what I was putting in my body! Cyndi, Lexy and I created this blog to be accountability partners and that has been a huge key to this journey! I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
