Pizza, Chips, and Cookies… Oh My!

I need a veggie- or two or three! It’s definitely getting harder to eat healthy on this vacation. :)  I can’t believe that I have been away from my own kitchen for the last 12 days!!! 2 more days to go and I will be back to my normal routine! Over all, I think we have done really good… mainly because we were able to get to the grocery store and prepare a majority of our meals ourselves. I have really missed attending our weekly Weight Watchers meetings!!

Today’s Fire Bites:

Started out the day with a protein pancake with a banana… Recipe HERE

Mid-morning Zone Bar

Grapes for the road…  The girls headed to Ft. Leavenworth to go to the commissary to pick up more groceries for the weekend.  We had already bought supplies for lunch but ALL of our husband’s began texting us to pick up pizzas for lunch. We were laughing as each of our phones were ringing with pizza requests…

Here we are waiting for the pizzas…. at Little Caesar’s!

That’s a lot of pizzas…. but there are 10 adults and 7 children to feed!

Here are my 2 pieces…

Then we went down to the local park to play touch football! It was so fun! We played for about an hour …

The girls striking a pose…

Boys will be boys…

Walked in the door and grabbed these… then we helped Kamie make 2 types of enchiladas. She gave me the recipes and I will post them soon.

Carman whipped up some salsa and green sauce!

Dinner – beef and chicken enchilada

Carman made some chocolate chunk cookies – I had 3!

And then a glass of Stephen’s hot chocolate!  Seriously… ate a lot of stuff today….

The funny part of the day was playing this game called Imaginiff! It was so fun… and hilarious because Torry got this question….

“Imaginiff Torry and Courtney were Elvis impersonators?” (This is awesome because their Dad really is an Elvis impersonator!)

Check out his website HERE!

We all voted that Torry would be the most likely one to be arrested for his hip-shaking moves!

We ended the night watching UFC …. verrrry interesting …. and kinda gross! 😉

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
