PLAN and PREPARE

Plan and Prep Wednesday!

I am leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to go to the First Monday Canton Trade Days with my Mama and sister. I realized this afternoon that I needed to PLAN and PREPARE some of my food before I leave so I don’t fall off the wagon,  or become miserable because I am not eating my normal foods, or even having to spend too much money on food {instead of cool stuff! ;)} because I don’t have anything.

I measured out and marked all my snacks and treats that I am taking with me. (I’ve decided I’m not taking the chocolate candy you see here- I have made myself sick on candy these past several days and don’t want to have it handy anymore- blech!)  I won’t have to worry about snacks both days and breakfast for Friday morning. I just have to worry about drinking enough water, choosing lunches and dinners, getting my veggies in, and making decent choices on whatever else I decide to have. It makes me feel so much better and more confident that I can stay on plan now that I thought it out and will have majority of my ‘familiar’ foods on hand.  I even googled Food in Canton and it looks like a lot of my choices are gonna be harder than usual. There are lots of vendor/carnival foods. I will just have to do the best I can and have a good time!  😉

 

My Fire Bites today:

pre workout banana & pb- 2

*Workout – 30 mins recumbent bike & 30 mins eliptical – +6

post workout protein spinach smoothie

1 scoop ISO chocolate protein

1/2 cup water

about 1tsp vanilla

1 frozen banana

2 handfuls spinach

Blend until smooth – Enjoy!

YUM-O!!!! {can’t taste the spinach AT ALL in case you were wondering! But you get more calcium in spinach than you would in a glass of milk! cool huh?!}

lunch – pumpkin protein pancake with Redi-Whip – 5

very filling and keeps me full!!

snack when the kids got home – 6

dinner – turkey, pesto, basil, spinach, & colby jack grilled cheese – 8

YUM!

*more chocolates.  DAGGUM minis. get me every stinking time. the good stuff is just about gone and I’m leaving tomorrow for 2 days – thank goodness! Hoping and praying it disappears before I get home. 😉

*snacked on grapes while getting kids/dinner ready for tomorrow.
