Recappin’

Catching up on the last couple of days:

Thursday: 26 pts

*20 minutes on the elliptical*

Met up with Susan over at the community garden. This is an organic garden and all of the veggies are donated to the local food banks. :) It was so cold and windy! Took me a while to defrost after…  I’m looking forward to getting the opportunity to work in the garden more and learn some new things!

 

Attended my weekly Weight Watchers meeting. Zone Bar – 5

Subway Turkey Sandwich & Snapz – 8

Went to my husband’s office to get a treatment – Ran by Whole Foods for a cookie on my way back – 5

Fiber One Brownie & Dreyers half the fat – 8

Butternut Squash Fries – 0

Attended an awesome parenting class that night by one of my running buddies, Debbi.

Friday:  28 pts

*1 hour Muscle Blast class and 147 burpees*

Zone Bar – 5 pts

Protein Waffle W/ Strawberries – 5 pts

Swiss Turkey Melt W/ Tomatoes – 4 pts

Frozen Yogurt – 6 pts Our running group got together to say good bye to our good friend Debbi- gonna miss her so much! She is a wonderful example and someone that I really admire. :)

Saturday: didn’t track points, but there was a lot!

Banana and 1 tsp Peanut Butter –

75 Burpees Timed Challenge – I didn’t have anyone to time me, so I set pencils on the chair next to my son’s iTouch timer… then, I would drop a pencil every 10 burpees…. it helped me keep track of them. My time 6:53

*Then ran 5 miles with the running group – It was definitely sad to run with Debbi for the last time…*

My husband and I went out for breakfast together at the Cracker Barrel. I was starving…..

Yogurt parfait, apple bran muffin, egg beaters and turkey sausage…

Then we ran a few errands together and these looked good!

I came home and had a big bowl of Blue Bell Vanilla and Fiber One brownie-

I ended up getting a bad headache- probably a combination of crying, running in the cold, eating too much sugar, etc. I was in bed most of the afternoon trying to sleep off the headache. I ate snacky foods like saltine crackers, stila oatmeal bar, veggie straw chips, etc.

I have been having a lot of shoulder/neck pains (probably because of all of the burpees)… my husband worked on me again and I went to bed early. I feel like all the resting that I did was probably necessary and my body was trying to tell me something. Luckily, we didn’t have a busy schedule this weekend and I was able to relax.
