Spending Time With Ty :) and Saying Good-bye To Katie :(

Lately, it feels like things have been non-stop. It’s hard to keep up with everything and I feel like I’m doing good to be treading water. My house is getting out of control again, the school year is winding down, choir concerts, church responsibilities, shoulder issues, dentist appointments, baby shower’s, friend’s moving away, work outs, counting points, PMS, blogging, laundry, motherhood, etc, etc… At this point, I’m just trying to take things one event at a time. I’m spending the next 10 minutes “reporting in” and then I’m off to clean house. (Hopefully there won’t be too many typos…)   :)



(protein waffle w/banana, turkey chili w/pico, egg beaters w/ pico over guac, grapes, tortilla s’more, protein bar, and a new protein powder that taste like cake!)  I have been super snacky on everything chocolatey…. I guess that’s why I had 3 tortilla s’mores! Holy cow they are good….



**Had an early 1 hour walk followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical**

Ty had a dentist appt mid morning about 40 minutes on the other side of town (where we lived last year)… then we both had appointments with Torry on the other side of Houston. Ty ended up playing hookie from school because by the time we drove all over Houston combined with time spent at our appointments, he had no time for school. He didn’t complain at all and he said he loved spending the day with me! :) We had lunch together and did a little shopping too. I can’t believe how much he is growing up….

Our friend Katie and her cute family are moving away… Our running group got together to hang out and visit with her one last time. I’m so sad to see her go….  She will be missed for sure!!!

Okay… I have got to get busy around here…. My house will be hosting a baby shower in 3 days!!! Ahhhhh……
