St Kitts training run from 2008 :)

Today, I’m going to be hanging out with one of my best friends that now lives in St. Kitts… I’m super excited!  :)  Back in 2008, I was able to visit her there and it coincided with my marathon training schedule.  I looked back at an older blog I used to have and found this post.  Thought it would be fun to share!

Here are pictures from the golf course at the Marriott. This is where I ran the 11 miles. This was by far the most beautiful run EVER!! =)
…from their website…
One of the top rated championship courses in the Caribbean region, Royal St. Kitts Golf Club offers 18 picturesque holes alongside the black sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and stretching to the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea.
(These first two pictures are from my Garmin watch…. the actual route that I ran…)
The view was amazing!

Seriously?

Soooooo glad that I had that opportunity!!!  I was able to enjoy an incredible run and still be on vacation and stick to marathon training!  I’m thinking I’m getting the itch to do another race!!!

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
