Started my day out with a run – I was pretty tired by the 45 minute mark so I walked home for 15 minutes to round out the hour…
Whey protein fruit smoothie with flaxseed oil – 4 points
Protein bar while running errands… 5 points
ChickfilA Chargrilled And Fruit Salad – 7 points
The rest of the day is really weird food choices…. I have been craving cauliflower!
So I boiled it for a few minutes and then blended it up for some “mashed cauliflower” – sooo good!
A while later I had some half the fat ice cream – 3 points
Then I was catching up on some blog reading…. I came across this post by Chocolate Covered Katie!! This just sounded so good – Chocolate Oatmeal With Banana – 6 points
The boys and I went out to the front yard for about an hour and threw around the football. Kody was trying to catch the ball 10 times in a row without dropping it before he would come inside… it was pretty fun. I used to play football, basketball, baseball with all the neighborhood kids when I was growing up… makes me miss the good old days…
And now I can’t believe it’s 9:30pm and time for bed! This day flew by! Bedtime snack – Veggie Straws for 3 points-
This weekend is going to be really fun- We are participating in the Blue Bell 10K! I’m looking forward to it!

Good luck to all of you participating in the run on Saturday. Have a great time. Take a lot of photos. Oh, don’t know about the mashed cauliflower but I did make the Chinese chicken salad (hot) tonight for dinner and it was delicious and so easy to put together. The husband even liked it – hooray.
Thank you Peggy!! Will be taking lots of pictures for sure! This week has been pretty low key… looking forward to some more FUN!

I’m so thrilled that I actually jogged for 8 minutes in a row today!!!!!!! (Please quit laughing!) Looking forward to the hilly 5k tomorrow!
