About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!

Love your earrings!! And thanks for the motivational speech, after yesterday, I needed it! (I think I gained 2 pounds eating a piece of someone’s chocolate birthday cake! :(

Love it Lexy!! I think we all come to a time when we need to re-focus and I think it happens a lot! I love the advice on recognizing your success. I know I’m really hard on myself and my constant self-criticism definitely doesn’t increase my self esteem. I’m going to try harder at working on recognizing my successes!

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the kind words about Rock My Run! It is so encouraging to hear that our music has helped you to keep working hard towards your goals.

I also totally agree with the fact that you have to acknowledge and remember your past successes. One of the tactics I’ve used in the past is when I’m feeling a bit low on my “esteem poker chips”, taking the time to write down some past successes and reflect on them. I find this helps to replenish my “stack” and help me overcome times when I doubt myself.

    Keep up the great work!
