Wednesday with Friends

I got the opportunity several times today to talk to several friends about one of my favorite things –  the dietSNAPS app!!!  My friend Rachel, who does WW’s as well (and teased me if I was gonna take a picture of that cheesecake at dinner below! 😉 ) downloaded the app onto her phone while we were sitting talking at dinner – and I challenged her to the 7 Day dietSNAPS challenge!!  I’m sooo excited for others to use the app that has literally changed my lifestyle!

lunch at our friend Erin’s house- a gorgeous and colorful veggie sandwich on toasted Ezekiel bread

and a refreshing limeade Sprite Zero :)

-Went and visited with a friend from church…..

then turned around and headed to Chuy’s for another friends birthday dinner…..

had a half serving of chips (6) ……and then ended up eating a whole serving :)

I had the Grilled Chicken Fajita salad with the jalepeno ranch dressing on the side that I dipped my fork in as I ate my salad

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). I love to cook and I love converting my favorite recipes into a healthier version for my family to enjoy! I love the after effects of exercising :) I love challenging myself to fitness goals to change things up and in doing so I have run numerous 5K/10K's, several half marathons, one full 26.2 marathon, and a Tough Mudder. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
