Snack Ideas

We talked about snack ideas in our meeting and it was great to hear some good ideas I had forgotten about. 

Sugar Free Jello with cool whip or Redi whip
Cheese & fruit
Frozen grapes
Strawberries
Veggie individual dip cups with baby carrots-2PP
WW ice cream bars
1/2 serving of Nutella with strawberries-3PP
SF chocolate pudding snack with strawberries as a dip
Laughing cow cheese wedge with apple
Cinnamon roast almonds or cocoa almonds-3PP
Hummus and pretzel thins
Zone perfect bars-chocolate peanut butter or carmel cluster-5PP
Laughing cow wedge with baked potato instead of butter & sour cream or mix in steamed veggies/broccoli to make a sauce

one girl talked about this recipe–Hungry Girl Mac & Cheese

Our leader Karen told us about this recipe that she takes to any get together:
Betty crocker Angle food cake mix (the kind that you just add water-except you’re not gonna add water)
15oz  pineapple tidbits in own juice
Combine these two and pour into a 13×9 dish or cupcake tins for individual serving sizes.
Bake at 350 for about 20 mins and check it.
Serve with a dab of cool whip!!

36 year old military wife of 18 years and stay at home mom to 4 incredible kids (3 girls ages 17, 11, 11 and our son is 6). After my 4th, and final baby, I decided I wanted to be more active, healthier, happier, and to be an example to my kids. I love circuit training, weight training, and running sprints. My goal is to inspire others to take their health seriously, and to show how small changes can lead to big results.
