Our leader Karen had just gotten back from a trip to Disney World (her fav vacation place!) and so she had her cute little Vera Bradley suitcase on display for today’s topic.
She went through her suitcase and talked about the things she packed for her vacation; the usuals necessitites like clothes, flip flops, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, toiletries, etc.
She also talked about packing her ‘Plan';
workout clothes, snacks, points+ calculator, pocketguide, food journal, etc
What will you pack to stay on plan??
mapped out running routes,
find a running partner/place to workout
Its important to set a goal by asking yourself this question:
Will I loose, stay the same, or gain weight??
We have to:
look up resturants for points+ values, etc
Eat more Power Foods
Use Weekly Points Allowance on the things you REALLY want
Come back to your meeting when you get back
So if you’re going on a trip or vacation….
just don’t forget to pack your Points+ Plan and do the best you can with your tools!!!!
