We’re Not In Kansas Anymore!

New Year’s Day marked the end of our 2 week family vacation. It was bitter/sweet. I’m so glad we were able to visit with Dave and Kamie’s family in Kansas City. They were awesome hosts to our crew! Thanks so much y’all!!!

Started the day with a banana and smucker’s peanut butter before knocking out my 62 burpees for the day. I wanted to get them over with ┬ábefore riding in the car for 14 hours!

On our way out of town, we stopped by our old town house in Olathe, KS! We lived here for a little over a year and Ty spent his first 7 weeks of life in this home. :) That was a fun time in our life and it brought back a lot of memories driving through Olathe! It has grown so much in the last 14 years!

Lunch time at Subway!

I snacked on grapes throughout the day while we travelled.

It’s always a good feeling to be back in Texas! :)

I was playing around with my iPhone and downloaded the new Weight Watchers Bar Code Scanner! I love it-

I had a left over bag of chips from Subway

We arrived home around 1:30am, unloaded the car, and hit the sack! It’s great to be home and I’m looking forward to getting settled and being back in our normal family routine! :)

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!
