What To Name This Post???

This weekend was pretty out of control when it comes to eating. I stuck to my normal routine for most of the day on Friday, but after the boys got home from school and we were running errands it went downhill. After work, Torry met up with us at the grocery store. As we were shopping, I picked up some sugar cookies and he looked at me like…. “wwwwhhhhaaaattt are you doing??” I could tell he had that look on his face like…. “I’m I supposed to stop you? Is this that moment that you warn me about where I need to step in and save you from yourself?” Hahaha!!! I showed him this picture which basically means, I’m PMS-ing and shark week is only days away! Hahaha! (TMI?)

From that point on while we were walking around the store, he was trying to come up with a title for my blog post! Here are some of his favorites:

“THIS SHIP IS SINKING”

“THE WEIGHT WATCHERS POLICE ARE AFTER ME”

“FLYING UNDER THE RADAR”

We were having fun with it….. but ultimately, this was how I felt…

“SPONTANEOUS EATING ADVENTURES”

FRIDAY:

Chocolate oatmeal with bananas

Whey protein fruit smoothie with flaxseed oil

Protein bar while at a meeting

My favorite salad from ChickfilA

Pizza for dinner….. Sugar cookies for dessert

SATURDAY:

**5 mile run with group**

Left over sugar cookies for breakfast

I’m so very proud of my youngest brother Reece! After years of hard work, he graduated and is now officially a Doctor of Chiropractic! Of course my emotions got the best of me and I was bawling through the whole graduation….  :)

His wife, Linda officially declared it “Reece Day!”

I think he’s been waiting quite a while to draw a line through those white letters….. So cute!

On to more food…..

BBQ at graduation

Snow cone (not pictured)

Jr. Mints for me, Reese’s Pieces for Torry at the movie

I’m pretty boring when it comes to going out to eat…. but since Saturday was declared “Reece Day”… he got to pick the place to eat… My brave face…

Of course I played it safe with teriyaki chicken and rice…. Torry ate the rest of that plate… and he had sushi….

Went to bed feeling like I had CHEATED on my WW plan….  :)

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!

Congratulations to your brother. Your husband’s expression when you put the sugar cookies in your cart is probably the same look my husband has when I’m going through my anxiety eating and heading for the kitchen “yet again” for something to eat. I just glare at him and dare him to say one word. Thankfully this anxiety eating doesn’t occur often. The food at the graduation barbeque looked wonderful. Tomorrow’s another day and another week – you can do it!
