Chillin' in the lodge

Working out to eat!

I seriously feel like we are on vacation or that it’s a holiday or something.  I have not been staying within my daily points, but we have been working out everyday so I don’t feel like a total bum.  I don’t know why it’s always harder when Keller first comes home to stay on track.  Whether it’s a feeling comfortable thing that makes me not care or what.  I am still taking pictures and tracking my points, so at least I’m doing something.  I am now 32 weeks…that’s 8 months in case you’re not good at math…and feeling more and more pregnant every day.  Starting to get the back aches and just the feeling of being super uncomfortable.  I guess it’s about time!

WEDNESDAY…

Finally Cole sleeps past 7!  Miracle!  Keller took Cole to school and I had my pre-workout snack 1tsp PB and a banana.  Headed to the gym for spin.  My legs were killing me from Keller’s workout he put me through on Tuesday.  Like seriously legs, arms, KILLING!

Got home and had a post workout bowl of flaxseed cereal and a green smoothie blended with greek yogurt.

I was supposed to go volunteering today, but a nice girly happily took my spot so I could hang out with my hubby.  We went to check out a new gun range that just opened in Park City and then to see the movie The Grey.  I really wanted some popcorn at the movie, but on the way realized I starving and it would not be a good idea for me to get popcorn because I would end up eating an entire bag.  So instead we stopped by Kneaders and I grabbed a tuna sandwich to share with Keller.

The movie was good, a little depressing and made me realize that I would rather jump off a cliff than be eaten alive by wolves, but other than that…

We met Aunt Sasa for dinner at El Chubasco.  Had my usual shrimp tacos, shared chips with Keller, a couple bites of Cole’s quesadilla and then finished Keller’s burrito because apparently I was a bottomless pit!

Oh right, then had some delicious frozen yogurt cause after asking Keller if he wanted some and he saying no, the Asian lady at the yogurt store said “oh but your baby want it”.

THURSDAY…

Ok now I really can hardly walk, but that won’t stop me from going to Buns and Guns!!  Had my usual pre-workout snack.

A lady during the class comes up to me and says “how are you doing this?  You’re amazing.  I want to die right now”.  It was pretty funny.  I told her I was used to the class because I had been coming for a while.  And it’s true, you’re body adjusts to what you put it through.  That is why it’s so important to change up your workouts and keep your body guessing.  Like the workout Keller put me through on Tuesday…it wasn’t that hard, I wasn’t dying, but apparently something worked cause I couldn’t hardly walk for 2 days after.

We came home from the gym and had the usual protein pancake and green smoothie (with plain greek yogurt that I am just loving lately).

Today was the last ski class for Cole and his cousin Justice.  Their teacher smuggled us onto the gondola so we could go up the mountain and watch them.  It is seriously amazing how fast kids learn.  They are 4 and 5 and have had a total of 5 lessons and they were putting on their own ski’s, getting themselves going, turning, stopping, it was so fun to see.  Made me really bummed that I can’t take Cole skiing a couple more times while we’re here (unless of course the snow is still good in April, or the baby decides to come really early).

After watching their first run down the big hill, Keller and I went in the lodge to grab some lunch.  I had a very delicious grilled veggie sandwich with pesto and a few of the million fries they put on my plate.

After skiing we headed home to change and get a snack before Taekwondo.  The boys were totally beat by the time we got there, like they are every week on Thursdays.  After Taekwondo we took Justice home because Michelle (my sister) was out of town.  My mom was watching her kids and made dinner for all of us.  Pork loin, salad, fruit, and banana bread.  So yummy!

FRIDAY…

I love Friday spin classes cause I love the teacher.  His name is Don and his is the epitome of Park City.  To give you and idea of what that means, it’s kind of like a california surfer dude, just very laid back, go with the flow, whatever man, kind of attitude.  And he always talks about what he’s going to eat that weekend, it’s usually pizza, beer, or chicken wings.  It cracks me up.  But I love it cause he’s real!  So of course he’s talking about what he’s going to eat that weekend and it makes me think of how badly I’ve wanted a bagel all week…so of course the entire class all I can think about is how much I’m going to enjoy that bagel.  It was actually very motivating. 😉

And of course Cole is at school so what do we do…go see another MOVIE.  Today we saw Contraband.  Mark Wahlberg is super hot and this is going to sound weird, but it’s really just a compliment, he totally looked like Carman’s husband Courtney in this movie.  Keller and I kept commenting how weird it was.  I tried to be good and pack an apple and a Balance Bar for the movie, but really wanted some popcorn.  So I ended up eating the apple, half the Balance Bar, and about 1/3 of a regular popcorn…thankfully Keller ate the rest cause I’m pretty sure I could have just kept going. (forgot to take pic of bar and popcorn)

We were invited over to Bobby and Andrea’s again for dinner since they hadn’t seen Keller and he hadn’t seen baby Issac at all.   We grabbed Chipotle for everyone on the way.  I had my usual burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken, fajita veggies, pico, and lettuce, with a side of guac.

We had a great time just hanging out and talking.  Cole and their 2-year-old Truman played the entire time.  On the way home Keller wanted a chocolate shake from In-N-Out and of course you can’t bring a chocolate shake within Cole’s vicinity and he not have some.  We were pooped by the time we got home, but it was a fun day
