Something REALLY cool happened today…. I have been a long time fan of Roni’s Weigh and today she featured my story on her Blog To Lose site!  Thank you so much Roni!  She has shared so many of her experiences, tips/kitchen ideas, struggles, success, etc on her site for many years…. she has made a HUGE impact on me over the years.  :)

About Lexy

40 years old, "stay at home mom" to 2 boys (ages 16 and 14), wife to a chiropractic kinesiologist! I love blogging and learning new ideas. I follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program and enjoy working out. I have run 2 full 26.2 mile marathons and 3 half marathons... and many 10k and 5k's. I love taking BodyPump classes and lifting weights. Working out has always been fun for me, but I struggle with eating healthy. Blogging has introduced me to a world of healthy eaters... When I first started WW... I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat! I didn't like cooking and I am not the kind of person that can just throw things together. There are tons of ideas out there and I love finding new and fun ones that I feel like I am capable of making myself!

Holy cute confessional! Thanks for sharing. You are on a pedastool as far as I’m concerned! And I just threw away 3 bags of twizzlers today! Ha!! I’m trying to simplify our home and my life! Candy just clutters and complicates it! Darn it!

I loved your video – and your whole website is really great and inspirational/motivating. Good luck with keeping the creep back – I gave up last time, I guess!

Thanks for your honesty, Lexy! It’s comforting to be reminded that I’m not the only one who struggles daily. Usually it helps me to plan one cheat day a week (I don’t go crazy, but let myself indulge in some of the things I’ve been craving). Again, this helps usually, not always!

Thanks y’all! I’m heading to my Weight Watchers meeting now to “face the scale” and own up to it. I’ve been thinking about the fact that I usually do better when I have a goal that I’m working towards…. like setting the goal to run a marathon, or reaching “lifetime” status with Weight Watchers, or even the goal to live in the area that we are now…. If I set the goal, it gives me some MUCH NEEDED direction. I will let you know what my new goal will be later today… just don’t have time to post it now. :) Have a great day!!! Thanks for being so supportive! We are all in this together. :)

Thanks for being so honest in your video. The WW lifestyle is hard, it takes alot of work but it is worth it. I am sure what you are going through is normal, there are ups and down on your journey. You should be proud of yourself for realizing now that you have to get your control back. That has always been my problem in the past, allowing a bad day turn into a week turn into a month etc. I had a tough weekend being out of town visiting family. I did not count points while I was gone. On Monday I was up a few pounds but did not let that derail me. I got right back on the counting train and today those two pounds are gone. You will be fine, just go back to what made you so successful in the past. Don’t let those five pounds become ten then fifteen.
